He is a devoted professor who has lectured at conferences worldwide and a leading invited lecturer. For his teaching efforts, Peter McCluskey won excellent service prizes from APAO, RANZCO, and AAO.

At Sydney Eye Hospital, Peter operates the largest tertiary referral facility in the Australian public sector for uveitis and engages in clinical research, laboratory, and clinical trials. He has spent a lot of time in producing this book for medicalstudents.
